It was the age of dark and gritty sci-fi horror/action films and they were all the rage back during the ’80s and early ’90s. And there was certainly electricity in the air over a newly formed genre that featured things like chest bursting parasites, cyborg armies, men turning into machines, and creatures from other worlds turning the toughest hombres humanity has to offer into gruesome hunting trophies.
